Some of our Exodus kids, praying for Mr. Chips.

Exodus's precious adopted BLM burro, Mr. Chips......does not have the feet of a wild burro...........but of Cinderella............which perplexes us all...especially my farrier............his soles are like Swiss cheese and foreign matter continually works up into the walls of the hoof...causing him great discomfort........last Monday, he was as lame as he has ever been.....could barely take a step.....the farrier looked at him and said to soak and wrap.....and that we did.......and even with pain meds...he got worse and worse.......we kept him in his stall with thick, fluffy shavings....

On Wednesday, I asked my teachers to take the kids in his stall and to lay their little hands on him and ask Jesus to make his foot feel better.........we did the same on Thursday night .........and Saturday morning......he was stepping out with no pain or lameness!!!!!!! My farrier showed up today to check on him and saw him striding across his pasture...."what happened???".................I answered him......"The kids laid hands on him and asked God to make him feel better.......and God answered them."......

Prayer.....it's so simple.....we come to the Father.....with ALL of our heartaches.....concerns......worries.........uncertainties......our own pain.....or the pain of others.........and we ask him to make it better.............and then we trust Him.....to take care of it for us...........this week....we will go to the donkey's pen once again............this time to thank our Jesus........for hearing the prayers of His precious little ones.......and answering them........and we will thank Him.....for being so very very good!
